Separate wholesale hair cost from the cost of a completed salon service. A useful comparison includes the exact hair specification, usable quantity, packaging, shipping and import-related costs, then adds installation and maintenance where relevant. There is no single price that fits every method and market.

Use the same grade, attachment, shade, length, finished grams and pack count. A lower price per pack can conceal a lower pack weight or a different construction. Ask whether the listed weight refers to hair, the finished product or the shipping parcel.
Build a line-item worksheet with product quantity and unit price, custom packaging, freight, transfer or currency costs and destination charges where applicable. Label estimates separately from confirmed charges. Divide the relevant total by the usable grams, packs or sets that your business will sell or install.
A salon quotation can include consultation, colour matching, installation, blending, removal, maintenance and replacement hair. Weft or sew-in service pricing is affected by the amount of hair and installation work; fusion and tape services have different handling requirements. Ask what is included before comparing totals.
