PLUCHARM ships from our own workshop in Juancheng, Heze, Shandong, to the United
States and to every country in Europe. This page sets out how freight is charged,
how long orders take, and what happens at the border.
Where we ship
We ship to the United States and to every country in
Europe. If you are ordering from outside those regions, contact us and we
will quote the freight rather than turning the order away.
How freight is charged
Freight is charged on chargeable weight rather than a flat rate,
so you pay for the weight you actually order:
- First 300 g — US$35
- Each further 300 g — US$20
Every 100 g set weighs 0.16 kg as shipped, so a single set is
charged as one 300 g step and ships for $35. A three-set order is charged as 480 g
of chargeable weight and ships for $55.
Chargeable weight is 1.6 times the net hair weight, which covers the packaging
and protective wrapping. There is no free-shipping threshold and no inflated flat
rate — freight is shown separately from goods value on the invoice, so you can
audit it and so that customs valuation is not inflated by the freight figure.
Lead time
Lead time is production and dispatch time, not transit time:
- 5–10 days — in-stock tape and machine wefts
- 7–12 days — hand-tied wefts, genius wefts and strand
methods - 7–14 days — moulded constructions and custom work
Repeat orders are faster once your specification is on file. Transit time is
additional and depends on the service and the destination; for planning around a
launch or a seasonal build, add clearance time rather than assuming delivery on the
day the shipment lands.
Orders made to your specification
Custom colour, custom length, custom weight and private label are produced to
order rather than picked from stock, so they follow the production lead time rather
than the stock lead time. The applicable lead time is confirmed on your
quotation.
Duty, tax and import charges
Unless the agreed Incoterm is DDP (delivered duty paid), the buyer is the
importer of record and is responsible for any duty, import VAT or customs handling
charge levied by the destination country.
Every consignment ships with the documentation needed to clear it: a commercial
invoice stating the per-line specification, the country of origin, and the net and
gross weight, with freight shown separately from goods value.
Import treatment differs by market and changes:
- United States — the US$800 duty-free de minimis exemption was
suspended globally from 29 August 2025, so small shipments are no longer
automatically exempt. See wholesale hair extensions USA. - United Kingdom — the £135 line is a duty threshold, not a
tax-free allowance; import VAT at 20% applies regardless of value, and for
commercial shipments the duty de minimis is effectively £0. See
wholesale hair extensions UK. - European Union — from 1 July 2026 small consignments under €150
attract a fixed €3 customs duty, with the €150 relief being removed. See
Germany and France.
Rates and thresholds change. Confirm the current position with your customs
broker before you price a landed cost.
Tracking
We ship on the international express networks. Tracking details are issued when
the consignment is dispatched. If a shipment is split across more than one
consignment, ask before you order whether freight is charged per consignment or
apportioned across the order — charging the first weight band again for each split
is a real cost, and it is avoidable if it is agreed up front.
Delivery problems
Inspect the consignment on arrival. If it is damaged, incomplete, or does not
match the approved order, keep the packaging and the goods, photograph them, and
contact us before disposing of anything or filing a carrier claim. Report a
quality issue within 7 days of delivery. The returns process and
the freight position are set out in the
returns and refunds policy.
Frequently asked
How much does shipping cost?
US$35 for the first 300 g of chargeable weight and US$20 for each further 300 g,
to the United States and to every country in Europe. A single 100 g set ships for
$35.
Do you offer free shipping?
No. We charge freight on a weight ladder rather than building it into the unit
price, so that the freight figure is visible and comparable rather than hidden.
How long will my order take?
5–10 days for in-stock tape and machine wefts, 7–12 days for hand-tied wefts and
strand methods, 7–14 days for moulded or custom work. Transit and customs clearance
are additional.
Who pays customs duty?
The importer of record — normally the buyer — unless the agreed Incoterm is DDP.
Confirm the Incoterm on your quotation before comparing prices.
Do you ship outside the US and Europe?
We ship to the US and to every European country as standard. For other
destinations, contact us and we will quote the freight.
