Remy human hair is human hair marketed with its cuticles aligned in the same root-to-tip direction. Remy describes alignment, not a country of origin, a guarantee of no processing or a universal quality grade. Verify the supplier’s definition and the finished sample.

Hair can be described as Remy while also having undergone colour or other processing. Virgin generally signals an absence of certain chemical processing, but the scope of that claim should be stated. Raw is another term that needs a supplier-specific explanation rather than an assumed universal standard.
Non-Remy generally describes hair without maintained root-to-tip alignment. Processing and finishing can change how hair feels initially. Ask what treatment has been used and compare the actual material through a consistent wash-and-dry routine instead of judging only softness.
Remy versus Brazilian is not a like-for-like comparison: one concerns alignment, while the other may be an origin or commercial description. Similarly, PLUCHARM 12A and 10A are internal product grades rather than independent certifications.
Cuticle alignment is only one part of the purchase. Confirm shade, length, end fullness, weight, attachment and pack count. Keep the approved sample and ask how the same specification will be identified on future orders.
