PLUCHARM runs private label hair extensions production for
brands that want their own label on the pack rather than someone else’s. Bring us
a specification or just a market position and we manufacture the private label
hair extensions range under your name in our own workshop in Shandong.
Manufactured to your brand, in our own workshop
Private label and OEM production for hair brands that want their
own label on the pack rather than someone else’s. You choose the method, the
lengths, the shades and the packaging; we manufacture to that specification in
our own workshop in Shandong and ship it under your brand.
What a private label run covers
- The hair: any of our thirteen methods, on 12A cuticle-aligned stock, in your chosen lengths and weights.
- The colour: matched to your existing colour ring so your shade numbering stays intact.
- The pack: your tags, your label, your packaging, your barcode.
- The documents: specification sheets and batch records for your own quality file.
OEM or ODM — the difference that matters commercially
OEM means you bring the specification and we manufacture exactly to it. ODM
means you bring the brand and the market position, and we develop the product
specification with you. Most brands start OEM on a proven method and move to ODM
once they know which specifications their customers reorder — that order
de-risks the first run.
Minimum order and lead time
A private label run needs a higher minimum than an in-stock order, because the
goods are made to your specification and cannot be sold to another account. Lead
time on a first run is longer than a stock order; repeat runs are faster once the
specification is on file. Send us the method, the lengths, the shades and the
packaging format and we will quote both.
Quality control
Private label does not mean a different grade of hair. Your run is built on the
same 12A cuticle-aligned stock we sell under our own name, checked for cuticle
direction, shedding, colour consistency and weight accuracy before packing. We
would rather reject a batch than have a brand discover a problem in front of
their own customers.
Why brands manufacture with us rather than trading
Buying finished goods from a trader means you cannot change the specification,
you cannot verify the grade, and you carry whatever margin is left after two or
three intermediaries. Manufacturing directly means your product is yours, your
cost is the manufacturing cost, and you can fix a quality problem at the source.

Custom collections, not just a rebadged pack
Custom hair extensions work best when the product and the packaging are decided
together rather than one after the other. A custom collection usually runs in four
steps: agree the method, lengths and shades your customers actually reorder;
record the specification so production matches it; develop the packaging and
branding around that specification; then approve a physical sample before the run
goes ahead. Nothing is released until you have signed off the sample.
Packaging is agreed separately from the hair, so artwork, quantities and
materials can change without disturbing the specification underneath. If you
already sell a collection and want it made rather than bought in, that is the same
conversation.
Frequently asked
Can you produce under my brand from the first order?
Yes, subject to the minimum run for the method you choose.
Will my colour numbering match my current stock?
Yes, if you send a physical ring or sample to match against.
Can I mix methods in one private label run?
Yes, and it is common — a brand will often launch with a tape and a weft
rather than a single method.
