A hair weft is a length of hair secured along a track or seam. The seam construction, width, finished weight and handling limits affect how it fits a professional installation. Weft describes the format; it does not by itself identify the hair material or quality.

Look at the front, reverse and edge of the supplied track. Ask for seam dimensions, finished width and weight. Confirm cutting and end-handling limits; a hand-tied construction should not be assumed to tolerate the same modifications as another weft.
Specify grade, shade, length and end fullness. Compare equal lengths and weights rather than judging only a tightly held bundle. Keep the approved sample and colour reference together for repeat orders.

The installer chooses the appropriate technique, placement and load for the client’s natural hair. Wefts are not universally suitable for all clients or permanently installed. Maintenance and reuse depend on the supporting installation, seam and hair condition.
