A hair weft is a length of hair secured along a track or seam. The seam construction, width, finished weight and handling limits affect how it fits a professional installation. Weft describes the format; it does not by itself identify the hair material or quality.
Choose weft length around the intended finished look, the client’s starting cut and the installer’s assessment. Confirm how the supplier measures the hair and compare fullness at the same stated length. A number of inches alone does not describe the final result.
Italian hair extensions is an ambiguous commercial term. It may be used for a fusion technique, a bond description, a brand or an origin claim. Ask the seller what Italian refers to before comparing quality, price or installation requirements.
Keratin-bonded or fusion extensions are individual strands supplied with a bond for a specified installation system. The commercial name does not establish the exact bond formulation, application conditions or reuse rules. Confirm the complete system before ordering.
