Care instructions should match the exact hair and attachment system. Give the client a clear routine for gentle detangling, washing, drying, styling and maintenance appointments, then explain when to contact the installer. A generic product recommendation cannot replace the system’s instructions.
Detangle without pulling the attachment
Support the hair near the attachment and work gently from the ends upward. Avoid brushing forcefully through knots. The installer should demonstrate the tools and technique suited to the supplied method and the client’s natural hair.
Follow the agreed washing and drying routine
Use products confirmed as suitable for the hair and attachment. Rinse and dry according to the installer’s guidance, including the attachment area. Keep oils or conditioners away from bonds or tape where the system instructions require it; do not assume that one routine suits every format.
Limit avoidable wear
Discuss heat styling, sleeping, swimming and exercise with the installer. The permitted heat and chemical services depend on the actual hair and attachment. Do not infer that a human-hair label permits unlimited heat, repeated bleaching or every styling product.
Keep the maintenance appointment
Natural hair growth and attachment condition need professional review. Tell the salon about slipping, persistent tangles or discomfort promptly instead of adding glue, tightening attachments or leaving a problem until the next planned visit. Reuse should be decided after removal and inspection.
For wholesale samples, record the routine
When comparing suppliers, use the same shade, length, weight and care conditions. Record the products used and the changes observed after washing and drying. This is more informative than a first-touch softness claim or an unsupported promise that all hair lasts a fixed number of months.
