The hair material and attachment method are separate choices. Human hair or synthetic fibre describes the strands; weft, tape or tip describes how a finished extension is supplied or attached. Compare both before choosing a salon product.

Human hair identifies the material. It does not establish that the hair is unprocessed, cuticle-aligned, a single donor or suitable for every chemical service. Ask for the processing history and evaluate the actual sample. PLUCHARM focuses on human hair extensions for professional salons, brands and wholesale networks.
Synthetic extensions use manufactured fibres. Styling limits differ by fibre and product, including for products marketed as heat-resistant. Follow the exact manufacturer’s instructions; visual shine, softness or a photograph alone cannot reliably identify the material.
Remy generally refers to root-to-tip cuticle alignment. Virgin and raw are commercial processing claims whose definitions need to be checked with the supplier. None replaces a specification for colour, length, finished weight, fullness and attachment construction.
Wefts supply hair on a track; tapes use an adhesive attachment format; individual tips support strand-by-strand placement with the specified ring or bond system. A weft can be made from different hair materials, so the word weft does not prove that it is human hair. Ask about both components in one quotation.
