Human hair may pass through collectors, traders, processors and manufacturers before becoming extensions. The manufacturing country, a commercial hair name and the donor origin describe different things. Buyers should request evidence for the particular supply chain rather than infer origin from texture or a label.

Ask where the hair was collected, where it was processed and where the finished attachment was manufactured. A product made in China does not by itself establish the donor origin. Labels such as Brazilian or European should be clarified: do they describe traceable origin, a texture or a commercial collection?
Request the supplier’s explanation of collection channels, consent expectations and chain of custody. Ask what documentation is available for the batch under discussion and which statements can be verified independently. Photographs of a factory establish a production reference; they do not establish donor consent.
A geographic description cannot tell you the processing history, colour stability or attachment quality of the finished product. Inspect the sample specification, shade, ends and wash-and-dry performance. Do not rank countries as universally better or infer a donor’s identity from the hair.
If your brand intends to advertise a specific origin or an ethical sourcing statement, confirm the evidence and the exact wording before printing packaging.
