How to Order and Evaluate Hair Extension Samples

PLUCHARM / PROFESSIONAL BUYING GUIDE

To request PLUCHARM hair extension samples, send your preferred method, grade, colour, length and delivery country. Samples have no minimum order quantity; we recommend 100g for a practical evaluation. Samples are charged at the standard product price, with freight paid by the buyer.

Use a physical sample to compare the hair you intend to order.

What should you include in a sample request?

Detail What to send
Business Salon, hair brand or wholesale/education network
Product Weft, tape or individual-strand method; grade and length
Colour A colour-ring reference, or photographs to begin the discussion
Quantity The amount needed for your evaluation; 100g is our recommended starting point
Delivery Country and required date, so availability and freight can be quoted

If you are comparing suppliers, match the method, finished weight, length and colour as closely as possible. Comparing different specifications can hide the reason for a difference in price or handling.

How do you evaluate a hair extension sample?

1. Record the hair before use

Photograph the label and hair in consistent light. Record the supplied weight, length, colour and pack configuration. Look at fullness through the length and at the ends, not only the top of the bundle.

2. Inspect the attachment construction

Have your professional installer examine the weft seam, tape base or strand tip. Check that the construction works with your installation method. Obtain cutting, fitting and removal guidance for the specific product; different wefts and tape systems should not be treated as interchangeable.

3. Compare colour in person

Review tone, root transition and the blend through the length against a physical reference. Keep the lighting consistent between comparisons. Screen photographs are useful for narrowing a selection, but a physical sample should guide final colour approval.

4. Record washing and styling observations

Follow the care instructions for the selected product. Note the products used, drying method and styling conditions. Compare detangling, shedding, texture and colour appearance at the same stages. Keep photographs and written observations so your team and supplier can discuss specific changes.

A sample trial helps you decide whether the product fits your service. It does not establish a guaranteed lifespan or prove how every future batch will perform.

5. Keep an approved reference

Record what you accept and what needs changing. Retain an unused portion where practical, together with the final specification. Use that record when discussing your first production order and later replenishment.

PLUCHARM sample terms

  • Sample MOQ: none.
  • Recommended evaluation quantity: 100g; this is a sample recommendation, not a universal full-head fitting amount.
  • Price and freight: standard product price; freight is paid by the buyer.
  • Sample-cost credit: available when a single order or cumulative orders reach USD 5,000. Confirm how the credit will be applied with your quotation.
  • Availability: confirm the exact method, colour and length before arranging a client appointment.

Can a home test prove the hair’s origin or quality?

No single visual or home test establishes composition, processing history, cuticle condition and sourcing. Softness alone is not proof. If your business needs a specific claim verified, request supporting documentation and discuss suitable testing with a qualified laboratory.
