Wholesale Hair Agreements: Branding, Territory and Resale Questions

PLUCHARM / PROFESSIONAL BUYING GUIDE

Clarify branding, territory, resale channels and any exclusive arrangement in writing before relying on them. PLUCHARM VIP pages provide dedicated enquiry routes; they do not automatically grant exclusivity, protected territories, a resale-price policy or first access to new products.

Define the relationship

State whether you are buying for salon use, your own brand, education or distribution. Identify the products, markets and channels covered by the proposed arrangement. A supply quotation and a distribution agreement address different questions.

Ask about brand and asset permissions

Confirm which names, photographs, packaging designs and technical materials your business may use. Keep your own product names mapped to the approved supplier specification. Do not present a supplier’s reference photograph as a result produced by your salon.

Make any exclusivity proposal specific

Describe the territory, channel, product range, term and responsibilities you want to discuss. Any proposed arrangement requires separate review and written agreement. Do not advertise exclusive rights based only on a conversation about potential cooperation.

Handle resale pricing and enforcement separately

This page does not set a minimum advertised price or provide legal guidance on resale restrictions. Ask what, if any, written policy is proposed and obtain advice appropriate to your market before adopting it. Product identification and authorised asset use should also be documented before launching a brand or distributor range.
