Hair Extension Training Resources: What a Salon Team Needs

PLUCHARM / PROFESSIONAL BUYING GUIDE

A useful training resource must match the exact attachment system and the installer’s role. Product information from a supplier supports purchasing and preparation; it does not replace practical training, a client consultation or the instructions for the installation and removal system.

Match training to the supplied product

Identify the exact weft, tape base or tip and its handling limits. Confirm the installation system, compatible materials and removal method. A general tutorial may use a different construction even when the product names sound similar.

Create a consistent salon handover

Give the team the approved product specification, shade reference, pack weight and care instructions. Record who evaluates a new sample and who approves it for client services. Use the same checklist when a product or attachment changes.

Prepare client-facing care guidance

The installer should explain maintenance appointments, brushing and washing instructions, and when the client should contact the salon. Keep the guidance consistent with the exact system used. Avoid promising that any attachment is universally damage-free or appropriate for every client.

Clarify what the supplier actually offers

Ask PLUCHARM for the product information relevant to the proposed order and discuss any additional resources required. Training delivery, educator accreditation and salon certification are separate matters. Do not assume that wholesale or VIP status includes a training programme or a professional qualification.
