Hair extensions can involve sorting, washing, colouring, texture treatment and attachment assembly. The sequence depends on the product. Ask which processes apply to the specific sample because a general factory description cannot establish the treatment history of every SKU.
Ask about the hair material, alignment claim and available sourcing information. Clarify whether the quoted shade is natural, coloured or lightened and whether the texture is naturally occurring or processed. Record the answers with the product reference.
Colour and texture treatment concern the strands. Weft stitching, tape-base construction and tip formation concern the finished attachment. A strong seam does not establish colour stability, and attractive hair does not establish that an attachment suits your technique.
Inspect the attachment, shade transitions, finished length, end fullness and pack weight. Repeat a consistent professional wash-and-dry routine on the sample. Ask what care and chemical-service limits apply before experimenting with a finished product.
