Approve hair extension packaging as a separate specification: dimensions, materials, protection, artwork, labels and pack quantity. A logo mockup shows a visual direction; it does not establish the final material, print result, cost or production quantity.

Start with the product inside
Identify the extension method, finished weight and piece or strand count in each retail or salon pack. Check how the hair will be restrained and protected so it is not crushed or tangled. Confirm which information must remain visible for stock identification and reordering.
Approve artwork at the correct scale
Provide the logo and print-ready artwork in the requested format. Check brand spelling, shade names, product codes, weights, care text and barcode requirements. Review a physical proof or an agreed production reference before approving a large print run.
Separate standard and custom costs
Ask which standard packaging is included in the hair quotation. Custom boxes, inserts, labels and printed materials can have their own quantities, tooling, proofing and lead times. The regular hair MOQ does not automatically define the custom-packaging MOQ.
Make environmental descriptions specific
If recyclability or recycled content matters, request the material composition and supporting supplier information. Mixed coatings, adhesives and local recycling rules can affect disposal options. Avoid broad eco-friendly claims that a packaging sample cannot establish.
