Appearance and softness alone cannot reliably prove that extensions are entirely human hair. Start with a written material specification, supplier traceability and an appropriate sample assessment. If material verification is commercially important, agree suitable independent testing before purchase.
No hair extension method is literally permanent. Separate the time an installation can remain in place from the useful life of the hair itself. Attachment condition, natural hair growth, installation, processing and care all affect when maintenance or replacement is needed.
Hair extensions can damage natural hair when an installation places excessive tension on it. Pain is a warning sign, not proof that an attachment is secure. Suitability, product weight, placement, maintenance and removal should be assessed by a trained professional.
