Tracking Hair Extension Shipments and Handling Split Orders

PLUCHARM / PROFESSIONAL BUYING GUIDE

Ask for the carrier, tracking number and the quantity assigned to each parcel after dispatch. A tracking number can be created before a parcel receives its first carrier scan. Confirm the dispatch status separately from the estimated arrival date.

Status What to confirm
Tracking created Has the carrier accepted the parcel?
Split order Which SKUs and quantities are in each parcel?
Customs delay Which documents or action are being requested?
Delivered Does the received quantity match the packing list?

Keep the shipment linked to the order

Record the order reference, product list, destination and tracking information together. If an order is split, request a packing list for each parcel and a clear list of the remaining items. Check whether a second shipment changes the shipping cost before agreeing to the split.

Read tracking events in context

Label creation, carrier acceptance, transit, customs processing and delivery are different stages. Tracking updates can be delayed or incomplete. Use the carrier’s official tracking page and contact the supplier when the parcel history does not match the confirmed shipment arrangement.

Plan urgent orders from the arrival deadline

Share the destination and required arrival date before paying. Confirm exact stock, order preparation, carrier service and any extra cost. Faster transit cannot remove production time or guarantee customs clearance. Avoid booking a client installation around an unconfirmed delivery estimate.

Check the delivery before putting stock away

Compare parcel and product counts with the packing list. Keep packaging and document damage or missing items promptly. Report the affected quantity, order reference and photographs so the team can distinguish a packing discrepancy from an in-transit problem.
